Back Pain and Weight

Lose the weight and you likely will still have back pain.

Telling a overweight person that has back pain it is because of their weight is a cop out for actually doing a thorough evaluation and providing an effective plan of care.

You can be over weight and not have pain in your back, or anywhere in your body for that matter.

Why does it sometimes seem like the people who often say pain is complex and multifactorial often are still the people who say back pain is related to your weight or activity level? 🤷🏻‍♀️

Or is back pain only multifactorial when your are “fit” and “healthy”?

Some of my musings today.... 😈💁🏻‍♀️
